I have already posted in the appropriate place, but nevertheless, I thought I'd post here for added coverage.

My name is Jonathan Bailey, and although I live on the south coast of England in Hampshire, please understand that in the pusuit of knowledge, distance is no bar to learning.

I have recently been on a Social Forestry foundation course, as well as (June 2008) an Outdoor 1st Aid course and (May 2008) a level 2 Forest schools course. I am at present employed full time in an office position, but am using the time remaining in that role (my present contract expires [thankfully] at the end of June this year), to do whatever courses feel right for me and gain experience from whatever sources present themsleves.

I am biased towards Social Forestry, but realise that at present, my skills and capablities are far outweighed by my lack of experience in delivery so any source of experience is welcome. For that reason, I am casting myself on the mercies of anyone who feels they could use some free, or free-ish assistance from now until whenever suits them. Payment not neccessary, but looked upon gratefully.

So if anyone has either a Forest School or Social Forestry course running between now and summer term end and feels they may be able to mentor a learner, please get in touch with me..
