Terms and Conditions
Profile Accuracy
- Ensure all details in your profile and final submission declaration are correct, including your forename and surname as they appear on your birth or marriage certificate, your date of birth, your postcode and your email address.
- A copy of photo ID is required upon portfolio submission. A driving licence, passport or student card is accepted. Your name, date of birth and photograph must be clearly readable.
Access and Deadlines
- Your course opens as soon as you sign up. You can begin straight away and work at your own pace.
- Your start date is the day you signed up to the course. The 6 months run from that day, not from the day you first log in and not from the day you open your portfolio.
- Beach Schools Practitioner, Level 3: complete your portfolio within 6 months.
- Access closes 6 months from your start date. After that you will not be able to open the lessons or submit work.
Portfolio Submission Criteria
- Submit all sections of your portfolio for inspection.
- Do not complete the final submission declaration page until all sections are submitted and finalised. After submitting the final submission declaration page, no amendments can be made.
Photograph and Video Consent
- Anyone appearing in photographs or video you submit must have agreed to their image being used for this purpose. Where children are in shot, written permission from a parent or carer is required. If in doubt, photograph the activity rather than the people.
Extensions
- If you do not want the certificate, you do not complete the portfolio and there is nothing further to pay.
- If you need more time after your access has closed, monthly extensions are available at a cost of £97 each.
- The first extension becomes applicable immediately after a one-day delay in submission past your deadline.
- Extensions are available up to 6 times.
- To arrange an extension, contact info@forestschools.com.
Internal Verification
- Your portfolio is internally verified before any qualification is claimed.
Accepting These Terms
- By ticking the acceptance box at the cart and completing your purchase you accept these terms and conditions.
- The same terms appear as the first page of your course and must be accepted again before you can move into the lessons. Where your course includes a final submission declaration, accepting that declaration also confirms your agreement.

What your enrolment allows
Your enrolment gives you a personal, non transferable licence to study this material for the duration of your course. You may read it, take your own notes from it, and print single copies for your own study. You may not share your log in, forward the material to colleagues, or reuse it to teach or train others. Models and frameworks
The Archimedes models taught on this course remain the intellectual property of Archimedes Forest Schools Education and its author. These include the Blackwell Growth Cycle, the E.N.E.R.G.Y. Model, the E.M.O.T.I.O.N.S. Formula, the CHOCOLATE Box Schemas, the COMMUNITY of Brilliance and the Emotional Wealth Inventory, together with the Archimedes and Forest Schools Education names and marks. They are taught here so that you can use them in your own practice. They may not be reproduced in training materials, publications, presentations or commercial products without written agreement.
What is not claimed
PILESS is not ours. The PILESS strands of holistic development are in common use across the sector and no ownership of them is asserted here. What belongs to Archimedes is the way we teach and apply them, not the model itself. The same applies to any other established model, theory or research cited in this course, which remains the work of its own authors and is credited where used.
