Where you stand

Your profile across the ten pillars.

Pillar Score Standing

Do these first

The order to work in.

Thinnest pillars first, because they hold the others back. An assessor reads the whole profile, but a low pillar is what a moderator asks about.

    Criterion by criterion

Every one of the forty, and the evidence behind it.

Each criterion below carries what you answered, what to do about it, and the specific thing an assessor will ask you to produce. Where you answered Embedded and reviewed, it is named as a strength so you can use it as your worked example.

    Your portfolio

    The twelve evidence areas.

Whatever your score, the portfolio is built around these twelve. Use the criterion notes above to fill them.

    • Constitution, ownership, governance and accountability
    • Strategic plan, budget and board records
    • Staff qualifications, roles, supervision and professional development
    • Safeguarding, insurance, first aid and operational controls
    • Risk benefit assessments and dynamic practice
    • Programme duration, continuity and participant access
    • Learner experience, agency, inclusion and voice
    • Site permissions, ecological assessment and management
    • Environment design, materials and sustainability records
    • Evaluation methods, baseline evidence and impact claims
    • Complaints, incidents, near misses and organisational learning
    • Reflective practice, quality review and improvement planning

    A realistic timescale

What this looks like across a year.

Written for a governing body, not for us. Every action above names a document, a record or an observation. None of it asks you to change what you believe about children. Most settings find the practice is already there and the evidence is not.

    What happens next

    When you are ready.

Send this plan back to us with the gaps closed and we will tell you honestly whether an assessment would go well. There is no charge for that conversation.

Application and assessment is £1,997 at Development Centre, £2,997 at Leadership Centre and £3,997 at Centre of Excellence. The annual fee that follows returns £997 of training every year, which is one online Level 3 place or the same value towards training anywhere in the world.

This is guidance, not accreditation. A formal decision requires verified evidence and independent professional assessment. Recognition is awarded only where evidence meets the published standard, and it can be refused.
